Zelda (Goldstein) Katzin, daughter of Samuel and Jennie (Bronfin) Goldstein, was born April 9, 1929 in Danbury, CT. She died December 9, 2010, at her home in Bloomfield, CT. She was the widow of David Katzin, who died August 13, 2010. They were married for 61 years and lived in the West Hartford for most of that time. Later, they divided their time between Connecticut and Florida. They last resided in the Duncaster Residence in Bloomfield. Zelda grew up in Bridgeport, CT. She was the niece of CT renowned attorney David Goldstein. She worked for the Hartford State Technical College as secretary to the president for 10 years. Zelda is survived by her daughters Jenna Lash and Sally Kline; grandchildren Elizabeth and Melissa Lash and Brian Kline; and brother-in-law, Benjamin Katzin. Zelda was also pre-deceased by her daughter, Lori Katzin. She will be remembered fondly by her many friends. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at 10:30 AM, in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT to be followed by a cemetery service at Sons of Jacob Cemetery, Winsted Road, Torrington, CT.
