Vera (A.) Glass

Vera A. Glass, a longtime resident of West Hartford, CT, died in Morristown, NJ on October 18. 2008. She was born in the Hartford Hospital, the daughter of Bess and Jacob Goldman. She was a graduate of William Hall High School and a sixty year member of Congregation Beth Israel of West Hartford. Her family defined her life. The loving wife of Maurice Glass for over forty years, she was committed to her large family. friends, and neighbors. No effort was spared in the betterment of those she loved. She leaves behind a devoted family: her children. Sherry and Stephen Wang, Barbara and Ron Curtis; her grandchildren: Theodore and Michele Wang, M. Thomas Wang, James and Michele Wyman, Meredith Wyman; her great grandchildren: Katherine Nugent and Jacob Glass Wang; a sister, Selma Waxman and a brother, Buddy Goldman and many nieces and nephews. She made the world a brighter place. We will miss her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Jonathan Welfare Society Cemetery, Tower Ave., Hartford.
