Sylvia Suskes

SUSKES, Sylvia Suskes, of West Hartford, died peacefullyTuesday, December 25, 2007 at the Hebrew Home & Hospital. Born in Hartford, she was one of six daughters of the late Joseph and Minnie (Kinsler) Suskes. Sylvia was an executive secretary for the Veterans Administration until she retired. She was a member of and contributor to many philanthropic organizations. She leaves a niece, Marjorie Levitz Markowitz; 3 grandnieces, Marla Adelsberger, Maxine Bernstein and Jodi Levitz; one grandnephew, Allen Levin; and 3 great-grandnieces. She was predeceased by her beloved sisters, Belle, Betty Kirschner, Dorothy Lieberman, Martha and Lillian. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Congregation Agudas Achim Cemetery, Cleveland Ave. Ext., Hartford.
