Sylvia (Dorlen) Barton

Sylvia (Dorlen) Barton of West Hartford died Wednesday (August 1, 2007). She was the widow of Saul S. Barton. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Sept. 9, 1911. She leaves her devoted children, Elizabeth Byer, and Anita Mancoll and her husband Dr. William Mancoll; her beloved grandchildren, Karen Silberman and her husband, Don, Kenneth Byer with Tony Michalak, Deborah Bucklan and her husband, Lane, Rebecca Mancoll, Rachel Stam and her husband, Wendell, and Peter Mancoll; and four great grandchildren, Scott and Brian Silberman, Emma and Cooper Bucklan. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 3 at 12 noon in the chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David Small officiating. Interment will follow in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield. Shiva will be observed at 12 Ironwood Lane, West Hartford.
