Susanne Lois Friedman, 71, died on the morning of Thursday, February 18, 2010, succumbing to her courageous battle against cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family that she had touched so greatly during her life. Born July 18, 1938, in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Stone Bashner. She also worked as a sales associate for three years at Chico?s in Delray Beach, FL. She moved back to Connecticut to live with her daughter, Robyn, upon being diagnosed in 2008. Sue, as her friends and family called her, had a love for people. Friendship meant everything to her, as she remained close to her friends of over twenty years.
