Susan (Quint) Friedman

FRIEDMAN, Susan (Quint) Friedman, 65 years of age, of Madison Lane, Avon, wife of Stephen H. Friedman, passed away peacefully on Sunday, (September 12). Born July 15, 1945 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Burt and Carolyn (Utchnick) Quint. Susan was a graduate of the University of Hartford where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Special Education. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Melissa Friedman of Simsbury, Allison Friedman Zola and her husband Marc of West Hartford; five grandchildren, Emily, Julia, Matthew, Joshua, and Zackary; her brother-in-law Marc Friedman and his wife Sandra of Bloomfield, and sister-in-law Laura Knee and her husband Tom of Avon, and her Uncle Alvin and Aunt Helene of Florida. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 14 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, with Rabbi Howard Herman officiating. A memorial period will be observed at her daughter Melissa’s home at 58 Terry’s Plain Road, Simsbury following the funeral from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
