Steven (Robert) Ross

Steven Robert Ross, 41, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010. He was the beloved son of Judith (Katz) Ross and the late Melvin M. Ross. Steven is survived by his loving family, Lee and Doreen Ross, Major Gary Ross, U.S. Army, and his cherished nephews, David and Marc Ross. Steven was also predeceased by his best friend and grandmother, Eva Katz and his card-playing buddy Merrill Katz (Mooney). Steven also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who love him and will truly miss him. Steven blessed his family and friends with the gifts of warmth, wit and humor. Anyone who knew Steve could not help but love him. We all are thankful for having him in our lives, and will carry him in our hearts forever. A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield 06109, with Rabbi Debra Cantor officiating. A memorial period will be observed at the home of his brother, Lee Ross, 133 Hyde Rd., West Hartford 06117 through Monday evening.
