Sophie Kenig

KENIG, Sophie Kenig, 95, of West Hartford died Friday, December 29, 2006. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Rebecca (Shimelman) Kenig. Sophie was a trust and estate specialist for the former Connecticut Bank & Trust, which became Fleet Bank. She leaves a sister, Rosalind Apter of West Hartford; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Julius Kenig, and by five sisters, Mollie Silversmith, Connie Kramer, Minnie Kenig, May Weinstein and Pearl Kenig. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Kenig Family Cemetery, Hurlbut St., West Hartford. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice.
