Sonia (Mostow) Mazny

Sonia (Mostow) Mazny, 87 years of age, of Highland St., West Hartford, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010. She was the widow of Hyman Mazny. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Ephriam and Gitel Mostow. A Holocaust survivor, she was a former member of Beth David Synagogue and United Synagogues of Greater Hartford, both in West Hartford. She was a life member of the Hebrew Home, and Nomat USA. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Philip. She leaves her loving cousins, Marvin Lewtan and Sandra Flaxman, as well as several other cousins. A graveside funeral service will be held TODAY, Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 1:00 PM in the United Synagogues of Greater Hartford Memorial Park, Wethersfield, with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler officiating.
