Sherman (D.) Cohen

Sherman D. Cohen husband of the late Barbara Gerrol Cohen died Saturday (August 22, 2009). He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was employed in the Paint and Coating industry and was past President of the CT Paint Salesmen’s Association. He is survived by a son, Michael Cohen and his wife Terry Murphy of Agawam, MA, four daughters, Beverly Fritz of Manchester, Amy Dunn Mesite of Granby, Robin Dunn-MacDonough of Southwick, MA and Phyllis Evans and her husband John of St. Remy, NY, a brother Marshall Cohen in FL, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with burial in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon.
