ROTH, Seymour Roth, 85 years of age, of Whitehill Drive, West Hartford died Saturday, April 3, 2010 in the comfort of his home. Born in Poland, he was the son of the late Louis and Merle (Goodman) Roth. Seymour was a Holocaust Survivor. He was a meat cutter for National Packing and Hartford Provision before he retired. Seymour was a member of Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield, the West Hartford Regents, and the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gertrude (Stein) Roth; his children, Marilyn D. Antignani and her husband Nicholas of Columbia, Barbara R. Roth with Peter Hollenbeck of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Cori, Kiera, and Carli; and his cousins, Joseph Korzenik of West Hartford, and Aaron Perlman of West Hartford. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Sunday, April 4, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place SW, Washington, DC 20024.
