Seena (Stolnicki) Schwarz

Seena (Stolnicki) Schwarz, 83 years of age, of Milford, MA, formerly of Windsor, CT, died Monday, February 16, 2015. She was the widow of Bernard W. Schwarz. Born in Antwerp, Belgium, she was the daughter of the late Judel and Ginendel (Lejbik) Stolnicki. Seena was one of the Hidden Children of the Holocaust. She spoke at local schools knowing how important it was (and is) to educate young people about the Holocaust. Seena was a member of Congregation B’nai Tikvoh-Sholom of Bloomfield, CT. She leaves her children, Judith Patzke and her husband James of Norfolk, MA, Alan Schwarz and his wife Christine of Old Saybrook, CT, her dear and beloved sister, Gutki Miliband and her husband George of Delray Beach, FL, and four grandchildren, Justin, Jared and Colin Schwarz, and Sarah Patzke, and two beautiful great granddaughters, Luciana and Julianne Schwarz. She also leaves niece and nephew Dorothy and Alan Neumann. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015 in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT with Rabbi Debra Cantor officiating. Interment will follow in B’nai Tikvoh-Sholom Cemetery, Clubhouse Rd., Windsor, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to B’nai Tikvoh-Sholom.
