Sandra (Rosenberg) Bernstein

Sandra L. Bernstein, of 102 North Main Street, East Granby, passed away on February 5, 2010, at Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of Arnold Bernstein. Sandra was born in Hartford on August 18, 1943, to Bernard and Beatrice (Herman) Rosenberg. Sandra leaves two brothers, Edward Rosenberg and his wife, Judith, of Ashford, and Milton Rosenberg and his wife, Rita, of West Hartford. She also leaves a sister, Judith Lazinsk and her husband, Stephen, of Windermere, FL. Sandra leaves several beloved neices and nephews, Beth Console and her husband, Daniel, Jill Barden and her husband, Lance, Jeffrey Rosenberg and his wife, Heather, Craig Rosenberg and his wife, Julie, Jack Lazinsk, and Michael Lazinsk; and nine grandnieces and nephews who adored her. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her close and dedicated friends, Kathy Bourgoin and family, Klaus and Mollie Schleehauf, and many other devoted, lifelong friends. Sandra was a graduate of CCSU, teaching for 17 years in the New Britain School system. She proceeded to work as an executive at Bernie’s T.V. and Appliance for 27 years, a company founded by her father. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but will be handled by Weinstein’s Mortuary in Hartford. Shiva will be observed at the home of Milton Rosenberg, 70 Ferncliff Dr., West Hartford, following the funeral. Family may be contacted for more information.
