Samuel "Pop" Steinberg

Samuel “Pop” Steinberg, 93, of Simsbury Road West Hartford, husband of Lena (Rubenstein) Steinberg, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Abraham and Minnie (Goldfarb) Steinberg. He was a US Air Force Veteran of World War II, and a former member of the Emanuel Synagogue, West Hartford. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Eugene Steinberg and his wife Roberta of Tallahassee, FL, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford. Interment will follow in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.
