Sam Swirsky

SWIRSKY, Sam Swirsky, 95, of Thomas St., Queensbury, NY, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford, CT. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Poretz) Swirsky. Born in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Hyman and Sarah (Miller) Swirsky. Sam was the manager of Glens Falls Electric in Glens Falls, NY before he retired. He was a member of Congregation Shaaray Tefilah in Glens Falls, NY. He leaves his daughter, Francine C. Davis of Enfield, CT; his son, Mark D. Swirsky and his wife Sharon of Virginia Beach, VA; five grandchildren, John G. Kirkpatrick and his wife Elisabeth, Elizabeth Clauson and her husband Clifford, Neal Swirsky, Seth Swirsky and Raymond Swirsky; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 12:30 pm at Regan & Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Rd., Queensbury, NY with Rabbi Elliot Marmon officiating. Interment will follow in Shaaray Tefilah Cemetery, Queensbury, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice.
