Ruth (Werba) Berson

Ruth Berson, age 96 of West Hartford CT, died peacefully surrounded by her loving son and friends on Friday August 3rd, 2018. Ruth was the beloved mother of Jerrold Weiner of West Hartford CT and was pre deceased by her son Clifford Weiner, her husbands Nathan Weiner and Arthur Berson. Ruth was born to Elizabeth and Marcus Werba on April 19, 1922 in Hartford, CT. She graduated from Weaver High School and worked for Judge Kinsella for many years. Ruth also owned Hilltop Antiques of West Hartford CT and was a private tutor. Her passion was square dancing and bike riding up until her 70s. We will miss her strength, brightness and sense of humor. Ruth was best described the Sinatra song, “I did it my way.” Many thanks to Dee, her friend and private companion. There will be a graveside funeral on Monday August 6th at 1:00 at Beth El Cemetary, 51 Jackson St. Avon CT, . Following the service, Shiva will be held at 25 Miamis Rd, West Hartford, CT.
