Roslyn (Newman) Theodore

Roslyn (Newman) Theodore, 83, of Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford, widow of Leonard Theodore, died Thursday, September 20, 2007. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (Schnabel) Newman. She leaves two sons: Gary Theodore and his wife Micki of California, Louis Theodore and his wife Lucille Birney of Philadelphia, PA; a daughter: Judy Aron and her husband Michael of West Hartford; five grandchildren: David, Jeffrey, Rachel, Joel, and Edward and his wife Deanne; and a brother: Jerome Newman and his wife Paula of Philadelphia, PA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Howard Herman and Cantor Joseph Ness officiating. Interment will follow in the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation Memorial Park, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her daughter, Judy, Sunday following the funeral through Tuesday evening.
