Rose (Druckman) Quint

Rose (Druckman) Quint, of Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford, died Monday, March 20, 2006. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Gussie Druckman. She was the widow of Edward Quint who died in 1994. She is survived by her son Charles of Windsor, her son-in-law Dr. Barry Schrager of Dallas, TX; two granddaughters: Karen Levin and her husband Michael of Silver Springs, MD, and Aimee Parker and her husband Ross, of Dallas, TX and their children: Maddie and Jacob. She was predeceased by her daughter Elaine Schrager and her brothers Harry, Meyer, and Izzie. She grew up and was educated in Hartford and lived most of her life in Windsor. She was a charter member of Beth Ahm Synagogue, Windsor, a member of its sisterhood, and the Fifty-Five Club. She was retired from Sage Allen Company. A very devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed cooking and baking her specialties for family gatherings in her home. When she was no longer able to be at home, she made a remarkable transition to living at the Hebrew Home & Hospital, enjoying a variety of activities. She and her family greatly appreciated the care given by the entire Hebrew Home staff, as well as the Jewish Family Service Staff. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd, at 2:00 PM in the Hartford Sick Benefit Assn. Cemetery, Garden St., Hartford. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her son, 125 Ford Rd., Windsor, Wednesday following the funeral. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
