Rose (Kaufman) Lubchansky

LUBCHANSKY, Rose Martha (Kaufman) Lubchansky, of West Hartford, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009. She was the widow of Isadore Lubchansky. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Ella (Kaplan) Kaufman. Rose was a supervisory interviewer for the State of CT, Department of Labor until she retired. She was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue of West Hartford, a life member of the Auxiliary of the Hebrew Home & Hospital, and a member of Hadassah. She leaves her sister-in-law, Helen Kaufman; nieces, Elissa Sce and her husband Michael Sce, and Deborah Sheiman; and nephews, William H. Kaufman and his wife Dr. Carol Kaufman, and Eric P. Kaufman and his wife Lynn. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Arthur and David, and by her sister, Sylvia Greenwood. The family would like to thank Rose?s care givers, St. Francis Hospital, and CT Hospice of Branford for the care she received. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small and Cantor Sanford Cohn officiating. Interment will follow in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield.
