Ronni J. (Nussdorf) Singer of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of West Hartford, loving wife of Lewis A. Singer, died of complications from surgery on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother to three daughters and a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Stella (Cantor) Nussdorf of Boynton Beach, FL and the late Oscar Nussdorf. Ronni had a wonderful smile and was always there to help family and friends. She grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School. Ronni worked for Connecticut General, the West Hartford Public School System, and particularly enjoyed her many years at Friendship Tours. She was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue and enjoyed her family and wide circle of friends. Besides her husband and her mother, she is survived by her three daughters: Stacy Pitluk and her husband Ron of Tolland, Meredith Chandler and her husband Alan of West Hartford, and Jennifer Meer and her husband Phil of Livingston, NJ; her grandchildren: Sam, Sofie, Grace, Ethan, Sarah and Dylan; her brother Jeffrey Nussdorf and his wife Phyllis of Las Vegas, NV; and her two sisters: Debbie Godofsky and her husband Barry of Boynton Beach, FL, and Marsha Nussdorf of Rumford, RI. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small and Cantor Sanford Cohn officiating. Interment will follow in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. A Memorial Period will be observed Monday following the funeral through Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter Meredith, 235 Penn Dr., West Hartford.
