Robert Michael Neiditz, 59 years of age, of Avon, CT died Saturday, January 13, 2018. Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of Minerva (Heller) Neiditz of West Hartford, CT and the late David H. Neiditz. He was an artist and a graduate of the Loomis Chaffee School and Manchester Community College. He loved life and humor, fishing and rocks, his dog Kima, and many, many people. His life became a struggle with Tourette’s syndrome and other behavioral and physical challenges, but instead of “marginalizing” him, his mother made him the center of her life. She opened up many worlds to him, and his teachers helped him turn those worlds into abstract expressionist art. He was a generous and gentle soul, and when his illness came late in adolescence, that generosity and gentleness were preserved for the rest of his life, and made it natural even in the midst of his struggle for him to love and be loved. http://robertneiditz.com/home.html Besides his mother, he leaves his brother, Jon Neiditz and his wife Anne Beidler of Atlanta, GA, and their two daughters.
