Robert Morris

Robert Morris, 95, formerly of New Haven, died at Shady Oaks Assisted Living in Bristol on February 13, 2006. Born in Atlanta, GA on May 10, 1910, he was the son of the late Max and Gertrude (Moreinis) Morris. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Clarice Morris and second wife Fanny (Lurier) Morris. He is survived by his son John and his wife Linda of Bristol; his beloved granddaughter Cara Seward and her husband Donald of Branford; his three very-much-loved great-grandchildren: Evan, Jack and Madelyn; a brother Herbert of Washington, DC; and sisters Evelyn Marks of Hamden and Ruby Schwolsky of West Hartford. He will also be missed by his special friend Mary Goggi of Orange. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Congregation Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell Street, New Haven.
