Robert (Lehman) Marks

Robert Lehman Marks, 76 years of age, of Emily Way, West Hartford, formerly of Bloomfield, died Thursday, September 30, 2010. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Morris F. and Harriet (Lehman) Marks, Jr. He had been in the Jewelry Industry and had owned and managed several restaurants in the Hartford and New London areas. He enjoyed his winters in Palm Beach, FL and he was an avid gardner. He leaves his wife, Sheila (Toubman) Marks; four daughters: Jennifer Marks Cadenas and her husband Douglas of Bloomfield, Kimberly Marks Hunt of Simsbury, Laura Marks Reisner and her husband Ron of West Hartford, and Joanne Marks Dragunoff and her husband Robert of Cheshire; six grandchildren: Lily, Jared, Alexander, Benjamin, Ellie, and Adam; and a sister Carole Marks Scott of Mystic. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Andrew Hechtman officiating. Interment will follow in the Temple Beth Torah Cemetery, Jordan Lane Extension, Wethersfield. A memorial period will be observed at his home, 20 Emily Way, West Hartford, through Monday evening.
