FALK, Richard S. Falk, 49, of Fairhaven, MA, died Friday, April 14, 2006. Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Marilyn F. Falk. Richard graduated Hall High School in West Hartford, CT and he attended Boston University. He was an entrepreneur who owned and operated many businesses, including Arctic Circle Lodge and Technology Gallery. He was an expert of vintage instruments and banjos and he developed “The Banjo Strap”. He was a pilot. He was an animal lover and had rescued many. He was devoted to and loved his family, most of all his children. His interests included MOPAR cars, golf, biking, photography and movies. He leaves his wife, Julie (Teglas) Falk of Sandwich, MA; his son, Peter Arthur Falk of Sandwich, MA; two daughters, Christine Teglas Falk of Burlington, VT, and Samantha Jane Falk of Sandwich, MA; a sister, Nancy Jane Falk Goldston and her husband Mark R. Goldston of Beverly Hills, CA; and two nephews, Adam and Ryan Goldston. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT with interment in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Boston, Rte 6A, East Brewster, MA 02631 or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
