Reba (Farber) Antin

Reba (Farber) Antin, 93, a resident of the Middlesex Health Care Center at 100 Randolph Road in Middletown, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Poland, she moved to the Middletown area from New York City in 1956. She graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx, NY in 1932. She worked as a bookkeeper for a number of Middletown area businesses including the Sibley Company, Remington Rand, the Wesleyan University Press, and Fenner America Ltd. During her retirement years, she enjoyed cooking, reading, her family and friends, and especially the New York Yankees and the television show Everybody Loves Raymond. She leaves a son, Kenneth H. Antin and his wife Karen J. Antin of Middletown; three grandchildren: Korrine A. Roth and her husband Brian G. Roth of Higganum, Seth J. Antin and his wife Jennifer S. Antin of Metuchen, NJ, and Matthew J. Antin of Middletown; six great-grandchildren; and a brother: Morris A. Farber of Delray Beach, FL. She was the widow of Henry J. Antin and the mother of the late Laurence J. Antin. Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 21, 2007. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middlesex Hospital Hospice Care Unit, c/o Middlesex Hospital, Office of Philanthropy. 28 Crescent St., Middletown, 06457.
