Raymond (A.) Aron

ARON, Raymond Raymond Aron, 63, of West Hartford died Tuesday, (April 21, 2009). Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Oscar and Else (Rubel) Aron. Ray graduated from Weaver High School in Hartford, Central Connecticut State University, and received a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Hartford. He taught in the Hartford Public School System and continued beyond retirement as a consultant. He was a member of Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh of Bloomfield. He leaves a brother, Milton A. Aron and his wife Lenore of Peabody, MA; four nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and great-nephews; his cherished partner Alice Slingerland of Delmar, NY; and his former wife, Leslie Stamler. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 23, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh Cemetery, Clubhouse Rd., Windsor.
