Paul Scheinblum

Paul Scheinblum, 62 of Bloomfield, formally of Manchester, husband of Marilyn (Klein) Scheinblum, died November 27, 2006. He was the son of the late Marie and Robert Scheinblum. Paul attended Hartford schools including Weaver High School class of 62 and graduated Central Connecticut State University. Paul worked for many years as an accountant in Vernon, was an Army veteran, a member of the Knights of Pythias a member of the United Synagogues of Greater Hartford and a long time little league coach in Manchester. He truly loved the beach at Indiantown and was known to all as ?Uncle Paul?. When not spending time with his family, he enjoyed anything to do with baseball, especially the Yankees. Paul is survived by his loving and devoted family. Besides his wife he leaves 4 children: Ed and Carla Scheinblum of Arizona, Marc and Tanya Scheinblum, Scott Scheinblum and Debbie Scheinblum all of Manchester. He also leaves 3 grandchildren Thomas, Tyler and Liya. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Stella Klein of West Hartford. In addition he leaves three brothers: his twin Peter and Cheryl Scheinblum of Newington, Michael and Lonnie Scheinblum of Florida, Judge Howard Scheinblum and Susan Fierberg of West Hartford. Three sisters: Sondra Kay of Bloomfield, Tobi and Gene Freund of East Canaan, and Esther and John Yeck of North Granby, and a sister-in-law Terry Scheinblum of Newington. Paul also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Allan Scheinblum, three nephews and his father-in-law Leon Klein. A special thank you to his ?other sister? Cheryl for her devotion and loving care of Paul over the years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 10:30 am in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Edward Cohen officiating. Interment will be in the First Ludmir Section of United Synagogues of Greater Hartford Memorial Park, Wethersfield. A memorial period will be observed Wednesday following the funeral and Thursday at 10-F Westview Drive, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
