Nora (Dolinsky) Kaplan

Nora (Dolinsky) Kaplan of West Hartford, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Hebrew Home and Hospital in West Hartford. Nora was born in Hartford on July 5, 1914, the daughter of the late Rose and Morris Dolinsky. She is survived by her sons, Steven Kaplan and his wife Karen of Lebanon, CT and Michael Kaplan and his wife Marice of Victoria, Australia. Her greatest pride and joy was in her grandchildren, Sarah Kaplan of Norfolk, VA, and Dr. Deborah Kaplan of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by her sister Betty Goldman of Bridgeport, brothers Jack Dolinsky and his wife Roseanne of Bloomfield, and Saul Dolin and his wife Inez of West Hartford, and a very large extended family. Nora?s family is extremely grateful for the kind care she was given at the Hebrew Home during this past year. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Interment at Congregation Adath Israel Cemetery, Middletown, will precede at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made to the Hebrew Home and Hospital, 1 Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford 06117 or to a charity of the donor?s choice.
