Nettie (Sherman) Rosen

Nettie (Sherman) Rosen, thirty year resident of Deerfield Beach FL, previously of Willimantic CT , born March 2, 1918 in New York City, to late parents Hyman and Bessie Sherman, passed away April 1, 2010. She was the devoted wife for 58 years of the late Louis Rosen, passed away December 1995. She was also the sister of the late Harry Sherman, Sarah Fenrow, Abe Sherman and Gert Kofkoff. She is lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and best friend by her children, Janet (Melvin) Miller of Deerfield Beach FL, Arnie Rosen (Janyce) of Fort Myers FL, Sidney (Brenda) Rosen of South Windham Ct, Meyer Rosen of Deerfield Beach and Linda (Barry) Gerall of Lexington KY; her twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was a loyal and caring friend and her greatest joy was her family who adored her. She will be remembered by her radiant personality and enthusiasm for life. She was a longtime member of Temple Bnai Israel of Willimantic CT. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of Temple B’nai Israel, 345 Jackson St., Willimantic, CT with interment in Temple B’nai Israel Cemetery, Mansfield, CT.
