Nancy Gail (Rosenberg) Rose

Nancy Gail (Rosenberg) Rose, 62, died suddenly at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, on Sunday, September 11, 2005. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Dora (Wolf) Rosenberg. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Rose of East Hartford; her daughter Stephanie Eden Rose of Bloomfield; and her son Eric David Rose and his wife Jennie and their son Jackson Theodore Rose of San Francisco, CA. She also leaves her nephew Stephen Cohen and his wife Charlotte, and her niece Donnabeth Leffler and her husband Barry, as well as many devoted and loving friends. She was predeceased by her sister Ellen Cohen. She enjoyed 20 years working at the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center in the Senior Adult Division. She also was a valued volunteer at the Hartford Artisans Center, a group of weavers and quilters. She will be greatly missed by those who’s lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Following the service, the family will be receiving relatives and friends at the home of Judy & Herb Silver, 32 Beacon Hill Dr., West Hartford. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center, Senior Adult Division, 333 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford 06117.
