Nancy (Kaplan) Lee, 65, of Simsbury died on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Albert L. and Olive S. Kaplan. Nancy received a B.A. degree from Goucher College and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Hartford. As an administrator and as a teacher her warmth, intelligence and creativity served her pre-schoolers well. Additionally, while a member of the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation, she taught Sunday School there for 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Lee; two sons, Steven William Lee of Simsbury, and Karl Justin Lee with his wife Kathleen of East Hartland; and four grandchildren, Mark, Steven, Jesse and Destin. She also leaves her aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Stanley Wiesen of West Hartford; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Attorney William S. Kaplan. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
