Myron Millrod

Myron Millrod, 89, of Rocky Hill, formerly of West Hartford, husband of Audrey (Gavensky) Millrod, died Friday, November 25, 2011. Born in West Hartford, he was a US Army veteran of World War II, a member of the United Synagogues of Greater Hartford and the Jewish War Veterans. He was a manager for a local super market. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Michael Millrod and his wife Tara of Rocky Hill, Robert Millrod and his wife Rosana of Newington; a sister Dorothy Rose of Pembroke Pines, FL; and a grandson Steven. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in United Synagogues of Greater Hartford Cemetery, Cleveland Ave. Ext., Hartford.
