Morton (A.) Silverman

Morton A. Silverman, 92 years of age, of High Tower Road, Southington, died Friday, November 5, 2010. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Jacob and Bertha (Popkin) Silverman. He was a long time member of the former Congregation B’nai Israel, New Britain, and a member of B’nai Brith. He leaves his loving wife of 68 years, Lynn (Levore) Silverman; a son, John Silverman and his wife Maryann of New Britain; a daughter Jan Silverman-Pollow and her husband Gary Pollow of Slingerlands, NY; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister Lora Siefert of Riverside. A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 11:30 AM in the Beth Alom Cemetery, New Britain.
