Miriam (Stang) Lewis

Miriam Stang Lewis, 100, widow of the late Leonard J. Lewis, died in New London at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital on August 15. She was born in Hartford July 5, 1909, the daughter of Mary and Louis Stang. She was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue, Jewish Women International and Women’s American ORT. She leaves a beloved sister-in-law, Sylvia Wilson of Atlanta, GA and many loving nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 18 at Ados Israel Cemetery, Hartford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue.
