Miriam ('Minka') Katz

KATZ, Miriam ‘ Minka’ Katz, 86 years of age, of New Britain, died Sunday, December 11, 2011. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Bessie Katz. Miriam was a nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford until she retired. She leaves a sister, Shelley Seravalli and her husband Gerald of Cape Coral, FL; two nieces, Sandra Yade and Barbra Seravalli; a nephew, David Seravalli; and her special kiddies, Tayler and Ethan Yade. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Beth Alom Cemetery, Allen St., New Britain. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
