Mildred (Grossman) Lapp

Friday at 3:18 pm Mildred Grossman Lapp devoted Mother, and wife passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. Predeceased by her husband Barney of nearly 66 years Mildred leaves behind three devoted sons, David, Jonathan, and Daniel, a brother Eddy Grossman, two grandchildren, a great grandson, a devoted niece Andrea Tardif and many friends. Milly, as she was known enjoyed playing tennis, square dancing, round dancing, and trips to Aruba with her brother and sister in law Arthur and Rita Lapp. Milly was the best mother any child could ask for and will always be remembered for the time she spent with her children as a cub scout den mother and school room mother.

Funeral services will be held at 1:15 PM on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow in the Teferes Israel Synagogue Cemetery, Meriline Ave., West Hartford.
