Michael (D.) Steinberg

Michael D. Steinberg, 77 years of age, of East Hartford, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband for 35 years of the late Andrea (Glick) Steinberg. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Samuel and Lillian (Levine) Steinberg. Michael worked for the Department of Transportation for the State of CT for 29 years until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of Temple Beth Tefilah of East Hartford. He leaves his son, Samuel H. Steinberg and his wife Jesica of Manchester; his brother, Robert Steinberg of Vernon; and a step-granddaughter, Morgan Nye. He was predeceased by a sister, Serena Melnick. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford. Interment will follow in Temple Beth Tefilah Cemetery, Jordan Lane Ext., Wethersfield. Following the interment the family will receive relatives and friends at 156 Oxford Drive, East Hartford.
