Melvin (Arthur) Naboicheck

Melvin Arthur Naboicheck, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Born March 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Louis H. and Lillian (Shechtman) Naboicheck. He was the beloved husband of, Sandra (Gelfenbien) Naboicheck; loving father of, Steven Naboicheck and his wife Colleen, Alan Naboicheck, Ronald Naboicheck and his fiancé Jennifer Brook, and Marci Naboicheck Kania and her husband Bill; cherished grandfather of Eddie Petka, Alicia Naboicheck, Kyle Petka, Tristan Naboicheck, Samantha Kania and Rebecca Kania. He also leaves his sister Janet Polinsky. Mel cared deeply about his family and friends and he loved to make people laugh. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of Congregation Beth Israel, 701 Farmington Ave., West Hartford with Rabbi Stephen Fuchs and Cantor Pamela Siskin officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Sinai Memorial Park, Newington. A memorial period will be observed at his home Thursday following the funeral through Sunday evening.
