Maxwell Uffer

Maxwell Uffer, 86 years of age, of Henley Way, West Hartford, died Sunday, January 30, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Ida (Miller) Uffer. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He leaves his son, Michael Uffer and his wife Debra Salomon of Brooklyn, NY; his daughter Susan Clancy and her husband Brian of Simsbury; three grandchildren: Elena Brizan, Brendan Clancy, and Jonah Clancy, and a great granddaughter Hannah Brizan. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby with Rabbi Joshua Whinston officiating. A memorial period will be observed at the home of his daughter, 24 Pine Glen Rd., Simsbury, following the interment.
