Marylin (E. Finkel) Wolfson

Marylin E. Wolfson, 85, of West Hartford beloved wife of Lawrence S. Wolfson, passed away Tuesday April 1, 2014. Born March 24,1929 in Queens , NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lillian Finkel. She lived in West Hartford for over 50 years, was active in the West Hartford school system and finished her career as an Administrative Assistant at The University of Hartford. Marylin liked to needlepoint, knit, read books and spend time with her family and dogs. She is survived by her beloved husband Lawrence S. Wolfson, her daughter Susan Walker of Simsbury, her sons Jerry Wolfson of Durham, NC and Richard Wolfson and his wife Amie of Simsbury. Four grandchildren Lisa, Mark,Aomsin and Aiden. Marylin was predeceased by her sister Freda Kantor. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hebrew home for their excellent care during our mother’s time there and for all the arrangements entrusted to the Weinstein’s Mortuary, Hartford. A graveside service will be held on Monday April 7, 2014 at 10 am at Temple Sinai,41 West Hartford Rd, Newington, CT with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating.
