Mark Feinberg

Mark Feinberg, beloved husband of Ruth Feinberg, son of the late Miriam and Adolf Feinberg, passed away on January 4 at Apple Rehab in Avon. Born in Hartford. Graduated from Windsor High School and American International College. Was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. Was a reporter for the Hartford Courant and the Daily News in Springfield. Had first television news program from WWLP in Springfield. Became a prize-winning journalist for the Boston Globe. Retired as the Executive Director of Development for the State of Connecticut. After state retirement, through company he created Ru-Mark Strategic Services. He became development coordinator for the town of South Windsor for three years. Survivors are sons Adam (Eve) Feinberg and Eric Feinberg and grandsons Garrett and Jeremy. Service at 10 a.m. January 8 at Weinstein Mortuary. Burial Beth Israel Cemetery, Jackson St., Avon. Reception to follow at the Grist Mill, Rt. 44 in Avon. Shiva service Wednesday evening 6:30-8:30, Thursday 2-4 pm, evening 6:30-8:30, 9 Mulberry Lane, Avon.
