Marilyn (Sigal) Katz

Marilyn (Sigal) Katz, 73 years of age, of West Hartford and Newington, CT, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late William S. Katz. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Julia (Bromberg) Sigal. Marilyn is survived by her son, Samuel Katz and his wife, Tammy, of Newington, CT; her daughter, Amy Katz Deane and her husband, Gary, of New York City and Livingston, NJ; her cherished granddaughters, Jenna and Carly Weiss; her sister Andrea Sigal Pillsbury and her husband, Stephen of Avon, CT; her brother Joel Sigal and his wife, Claire, of Selkirk, NY and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00am on Friday, October 5, 2018 in the Beth Alom Cemetery, 46 Allen Street, New Britain, CT with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary of Hartford, CT.
