Marilyn (Borden) Freedman

FREEDMAN, Marilyn (Borden) Freedman, 83 years of age, of Bloomfield died Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. She was the widow of Herbert Freedman. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late State Senator Harold and Mollie (Sigal) Borden. She leaves a son, Bruce F. Freedman and his wife Deborah of Bloomfield; two daughters, Diane Cutler of Bloomfield, and Margaret E. Freedman and her husband Michael Blanker of Farmington; two brothers, Dr. Walter A. Borden and his wife Edie of Bloomfield, and Justice David M. Borden and his wife Judith of West Hartford; two grandchildren, Dana Chamberlain, and Jason Cutler and his wife Clarissa; and three great-grandchildren, Dolores D. Chamberlain, Robert Chamberlain, and Zaylee Cutler. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Borden. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 9:30 AM at the Farband Labor Zionist Organization Cemetery, Cleveland Ave. Ext., Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
