Maralyn (Rulnick) Lipner

Maralyn (Rulnick) Lipner, 81, of Library Lane, Simsbury, widow of Harry Lipner, died Saturday, November 28. 2009. Born in East Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Betty (Sack) Rulnick. She was a graduate of Radcliffe College, class of 1948. She was a member of Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation - Emek Shalom, Simsbury. She leaves two sons: Zachary Lipner of Verona, NJ, and Seth Lipner of Dix Hills, NY; three grandchildren; and a sister: Judith Klau of Boston, MA. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Monday November 30, 2009 at 9:45 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Howard Herman officiating. Interment will follow in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield. A Memorial period will be observed at the homes of her sons: Seth, 18 Old Brook Rd., Dix Hills, NY, and Zachary, 17 Floyd Rd., Verona, NJ through Tuesday evening.
