Lillian (Cutler) Berman

Lillian Cutler Berman, 87, of Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Lottie (Kotkin) Cutler. She was the second youngest of 11 siblings. Lillian was a warm loving mother and adored her family immensely. She enjoyed many years at her Westbrook beach house with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked for many years at the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Nursery School. She leaves her son Alan Berman and his wife Jeanne of West Hartford; daughters: Elaine Cunningham and her husband Scott of North Granby, and Helene Sheehan and her husband Edward of Kauai, HI; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters: Jacqueline Berg of California, and Lee Wright of Oregon. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the wonderful care givers at the Hebrew Home and the Hospice team. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in the Cutler Family Circle Cemetery, West Hartford. A memorial period will be observed at the home of Alan & Jeanne Berman, 24 Arden Road, West Hartford, only Sunday following the funeral.
