Leslie Kurland

KURLAND, Leslie Kurland, 79, of Bloomfield died Saturday, July 28, 2007. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Benjamin H. and Charlotte (Tucker) Kurland. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Leslie managed the former Church?s Shoes in Hartford. He leaves his wife, Lillian Libby'(Goldberg) Kurland; three sons, Philip R. Kurland of Virginia Beach, VA, Rabbi Paul M. Kurland and his wife Jeri of Nanuet, NY, and Kenneth A. Kurland and his wife Nancy of East Hartford; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Heidi-Jo Kurland. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Monday, July 30, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Rome Family Circle Cemetery Section of Beth David Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield. Shiva will be observed at his home.
