Lena (Silberman) Weiser

Lena (Silberman) Weiser, 85 years of age, of South Windsor, formerly of West Hartford, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010. She was the widow of Irving Weiser. Born in White Lake, NY, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Luba (Block) Silberman. Lena was retired from the Bloomfield Public School System, having worked at J.P. Vincent Elementary School. She leaves her beloved family, son William Gigliuto of West Hartford, daughter Brenda Massa and her husband Richard of South Windsor, and grandson, William Gigliuto. Lena?s family wants to thank those who give the gift of life through blood donations. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford. Interment will follow in the John Hay Memorial Park, Garden St., Hartford. A memorial period will be observed following the interment until 8:00 PM, at the home of Brenda and Richard Massa, 95 Cody Circle, South Windsor.
