Lea (Amrofel) Kubran

Lea (Amrofel) Kubran, 87 years of age, of Lauderhill, FL, formerly of Simsbury, died Thursday, July 8, 2010. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Zyszko and Rochla (Abramczyk) Amrofel. She was the widow of Jack Kubran. Lea is predeceased by her daughter, Rosylin Kubran Katz, and survived by her son Jeffrey S. Kubran, and daughter Judith Kubran. She also leaves grandsons Dustin Kubran, Jonathan Kubran and Ian Katz, along with Dustin’s wife Rose Kubran and great grandson, Jack Kubran. She is survived by son-in-law Steven Katz and daughter-in-law Sue Newbold Kubran. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with interment in the First Ludmir Society Cemetery, Wethersfield.
