Laura (Levy) Trieber

Laura (Levy) Trieber, 83, of Westbrook Rd., West Hartford, wife of Albee M. Trieber, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007. Born in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Lucille (White) Levy. She was the Vice President of the Albee Trieber Company for over 40 years, and a professional telemarketer. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters: Betty Rieger and her husband Dr. Mark Rieger of Morristown, NJ, and Jacquelyne Trieber of Farmington and her fiancé Kevin Sheehan of Coventry, England; a granddaughter: Madison Rieger; and a sister Selma Yudkin of Derby and West Hartford. She also leaves her beloved friend, her puppy Shadow. She was a loving wife, selfless mother; adoring grandmother; cherished sister; and a wonderful friend. She brought love and kindness to everyone she met. She will hold a special place in everyone?s heart. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Howard Herman officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. A Memorial Period will be observed at her home Thursday following the funeral until 7:00 PM and Friday from 2 - 7 PM.
