Karen (Zeligman) Newberg

Karen (Zeligman) Newberg, 47 years of age, of Canton Valley Circle, Canton died Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Evelyn Hirsch of West Hartford and the late Allen Zeligman. She attended Hall High School in West Hartford. Besides her mother she leaves her son, Reece Newberg; her daughter, Sarah E. Newberg; her brother Earl Zeligman of Evanston, IL; and two nieces, Alix and Zoe Zeligman. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Friday, April 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. A Memorial Period will be observed at the home of her mother, 217 Park Rd., West Hartford, following the funeral from 2:30 to 5 PM.
